Bear serves as a Vice President at Gerchen Capital Partners, where he supports the firm’s investment process, including origination, underwriting, due diligence, execution, and portfolio monitoring.
Before joining GCP, Bear was an investment banking associate at Lazard, where he focused primarily on mergers and acquisitions in the Global Industrials Group. Prior to Lazard, Bear was an attorney at Latham & Watkins, where his practice focused primarily on mergers and acquisitions in the entertainment, sports and media industries.
Bear earned his undergraduate degree from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and received his JD from Harvard Law School, where he served as a senior editor for the Harvard Business Law Review.
