Brian Gutman serves as a Principal at Gerchen Capital Partners, where he works closely with senior management on a variety of financial, investing, and operating functions.
Brian is also Head of Finance & Capital Markets at Keller Postman LLC, where he is responsible for all accounting and finance functions, as well as leading enterprise level capital markets activities. Brian also works closely with senior management developing firmwide strategy, assisting with business development, managing special projects, and analyzing new growth opportunities.
Previously, Brian worked in investment banking at Goldman Sachs in the Consumer Retail Group. He was focused primarily on clients in the food, high-growth retail, health and wellness, and hard-lines retail industries. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Brian worked at BTIG in the Institutional Sales & Trading Group, working alongside the CEO, sharing coverage and execution responsibilities for many of the firm’s largest institutional clients.
Brian earned his undergraduate degree from the Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan and received his JD and MBA from Northwestern University’s Pritzker School of Law and Kellogg School of Management, respectively.
