Jonathan Owen is a Managing Director at Gerchen Capital Partners, where he leads the origination of new investments and the continued expansion of the firm’s market presence. With nearly 15 years of experience in the litigation finance industry, Jonathan has built a strong network of relationships with leading law firms and corporate plaintiffs across the United States.
Before joining GCP, Jonathan served as Vice President at Burford Capital, where he was a member of the U.S. business development team focused on the origination, structuring, and negotiation of complex litigation finance transactions.
Earlier in his career, Jonathan spent more than a decade as Funding Director at Law Finance Group, where he played a key role in sourcing and managing a diverse portfolio of legal finance investments.
Jonathan earned his law degree from Swansea University in the United Kingdom.
