Maggie Guidotti serves as Counsel at Gerchen Capital Partners, where she advises on legal matters relating to the origination, structuring and execution of the firm's litigation finance and structured credit investments.
Maggie was previously an Associate in the Finance practice at Latham & Watkins LLP, where she advised private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in debt financing transactions across the investment lifecycle. Prior to Latham, Maggie was an Associate in the Restructuring and Finance group at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, where she represented public and private borrowers in complex corporate financings in the investment-grade and high-yield markets.
Maggie began her career as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Julie E. Carnes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Maggie earned her law degree with honors from the University of Chicago Law School, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as a member of the University of Chicago Law Review. She received her bachelor's degree in English from the University of Virginia, where she graduated with High Distinction.
